RAW MATERIAL AREA

In Vietnam, cinnamon is grown into concentrated forests in the northern mountainous areas of the provinces: Yen Bai, Lao Cai, Lang Son, Lai Chau, Thai Nguyen, Son La, Quang Ninh…

By the end of 2022, Yen Bai has about 100,000 hectares; Lao Cai has about 60,000 hectares of cinnamon cultivation; are the two provinces with the largest cinnamon growing area in Vietnam. The area planted to cinnamon is expected to continue to increase rapidly in the near future to replace other inefficient crops. 

HARVEST

Cassia leaft oil is distilled from the branches and leaves of the cinnamon tree grown after 5-8 years, with the main active ingredient content of at least 80% cinnamic aldehyde.

After harvesting, cinnamon leaves are incubated in natural, dry conditions for at least 1 month before being distilled; to ensure the best oil color and performance.

DISTILL CASSIA LEAF OIL

Distillation equipment uses steam distillation technology, heated through a large-capacity boiler.

The condenser uses beam condenser technology to ensure maximum efficiency. Each 1 ton of cinnamon branches and leaves yields about 7kg of essential oil.

BIOFUEL

After distillation, cinnamon leaves are reused as fuel to provide heat for the boiler. The process of distilling cinnamon leaf essential oil uses clean biofuels, contributing to environmental protection.
