In Vietnam, tamanu trees is mainly distributed in the low mountains, in the central, eastern and southwestern provinces. The tree can grow along the banks of high canals and canals. The plant flowers a lot each year, natural regeneration mainly from seeds. Each tamanu fruit contains 1 seed, which contains oil inside. The oil content in the seeds is about 50-60%.
Harvest ripe tamarind fruit to dry for kernels
